INDIRECT OBJECTS AS PASSIVE SUBJECTS (Çift Nesne Alan Yüklemlerin Pasifleri)
İngilizce’de bazı yüklemler dolaylı ve dolaysız (indirect and direct) olmak üzere iki nesne alabilirler. Her iki nesne de başa çekilerek pasif yapılabilir:
v They gave her a lot of presents.[A1]
1. She was given a lot of presents.[A2]
2. A lot of presents were given to her[A3]
v They will send us a report at the end of the term.[A4]
1. We will be sent a report at the end of the term.[A5]
2. A report will be sent to us at the end of the term[A6] .
Tekillik çoğulluk durumuna dikkat edilmelidir.
v I have sent him two emails this week.[A7]
1. He has been sent two emails this week.[A8]
2. Two emails have been sent to him this week[A9] .
v They have to pay the money to us immediately.[A10]
1. We have to be paid the money immediately.[A11]
2. The money has to be paid to us immediately.[A12]
